Dirty Hands

HANDS-ON LAWYER, PARTNERING WITH CLIENTS IN THE DIRTY WORK

Nearly becoming a farmer and a teacher, I rather decided to pursue law and found a true professional home there. As a lawyer, I've now spent over a decade working on law enforcement, national security, and "trust and safety" matters in government, in-house at a tech company, and at a firm. In that time, I've gained experience with the panoply of legal and policy issues that arise in those practice areas. However, I've never been a paper-only lawyer; I'm still a farmer and teacher at heart. I like to get my hands dirty, help things grow, and enable others to learn and succeed.

As veteran of the Department of Justice, former Internet company VP, and director of an outsourced law enforcement response company while at a boutique law firm, I've seen a lot. I'm excited to bring those experiences to any new challenge a client may present. And then get down in the mud and the weeds to help that client formulate a practical, durable solution for their thorny issue.
